mini eco features again

July 16, 2008

http://www.everything4kids.com.au/ is a great parenting website and today we were lucky enough to feature in their latest product review! And what did they feature, Green to Grow bottles of course! These have taken Australia by storm and mini eco was, of course, the first to bring them to Australia! Check out our feature here.

Based in Los Angeles, Green to Grow baby bottles was started by Michael and Shelley Ritterbrown when the magnitude of their responsibility as new parents hit them.

Their decision to launch Green to Grow baby bottles with a line of bisphenol A-free plastic baby bottles grew from their alarm as they read reports that highlighted the potential dangers presented by polycarbonate plastic, which contains the hormone disruptor bisphenol A - a neurological, developmental, and reproductive toxicant; and from their frustration over the lack of options. They believed concerned parents like them would welcome safer alternatives, even if they cost more due to the higher price of the raw materials used.

Green to Grow baby bottles are committed to seeking environmentally sound business solutions. They use 100% recycled paper and soy inks in all of their packaging and printed corporate materials and donate 1% of their annual sales to environmental causes. They have also founded the Bottles to Babies Initiative, to connect families who are no longer using their baby bottles with local non-profit organizations and women's shelters that accept used baby bottle donations.
