Founded in Germany as a direct supplier of toys to kindegartens, HaPe focus on contributing welfare, joy and lifelong happiness to the children of this world.
Their aim is to educate and motivate children with their fun and colourful products, supporting them in exploring and discovering the world creatively and in improving their emotional and social abilities and skills. HaPe work with child-oriented organizations like UNESCO to further help the children of the world. Specialising in wooden toys in the educational field, they believe that children's health is a key issue, not only for their parents, but also for the whole of society.
Many HaPe products have been awarded for ecologically sensitive use of materials and they conduct a wide range of toy safety tests with respect to the mechanical, electrical and chemical behaviour of their toys. HaPe have passed the evaluation for ISO9001 quality system certification and became one of the first ISO9001 certified enterprises among wooden toy manufactured in China. They have also passed the LGA examination for safety (Landesgewerbeanstalt Bayern).
