Nalan Collection

Nalan Collection was founded by Laura Speake, a graduate mechanical engineer from the UK who gave up her career in industry to relocate to Thailand with her family. Nalan Collection has developed from her long held ambition to reshape her life in a way that would make a real difference to the environment, however modest at the start.

Fulfilling that dream, Laura has created an ethically driven, organic business. The Nalan Collection range of clothing stands for high quality, funky, unique designs. The production of these garments have a small ecological impact but a huge positive influence on all the people involved in the process.

The use of organic cotton yarn is fundamental to Nalan Collection's business. But this alone is not enough, since even the organic origin of the yarn is no guarantee of ethical trading practice elsewhere in the supply chain. As a result, Nalan Collection is working hard towards the Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) to gain full accreditation and have individual contact with all partners in their supply chain for complete control.

All Nalan Collection supplies are also ethically traded, free of sweat-shop abuses and are carefully designed to have a low environmental impact.
