Based in the USA, Progressive Kid's mission is to support the development of progressive kids, so that the next generation will be equipped and prepared to care for our planet and its lifeforms.

Progressive Kid pursue their mission by creating and selling kid-positive products that communicate life-affirming values of self-respect, creativity, curiosity, responsibility, and empathy; by supporting like-minded organizations, sponsoring worthwhile events, and participating actively in the local and global community; and through their ethical, fair, green, and sustainable business practices.

In deciding how to make their products, Progressive Kid chooses the method that has the least negative impact on the environment. Progressive Kid believe they are the most socially, environmentally, and morally responsible ways of doing business.

Progressive Kid's products are made from non-toxic materials (such as eco fleece and organic cotton) and with environmentally friendly procedures. The people who make their products earn living wages and work in good conditions. No animal testing is used. The non-toxic content of their organic cotton is certified by internationally recognized agencies, including SKAL. Progressive Kid's organic cotton is dyed with safe dyes and screen printed with water or vegetable-based inks.
