Turtlegreen

Kribo Ackerman spent her childhood playing card games like Old Maid, Rummy and Canasta. She became a passionate advocate for the environment in her teens during the Save the Whale campaign of the late 1970's. Many years later Kribo found herself making and playing games with her daughter on the floor of their home and thought "Why don't I make green Australian games for children?"

In 2004 Kribo started turtlegreen with the aim of creating fun, educational games for children that were produced sustainably. All turtlegreen games and stationery are produced according to principles of environmental sustainability. The turtlegreen range has featured recently in GMagazine, the Sydney Morning Herald and Green Pages Australia. Go Anna! is printed on Monza (recycled and sustainable forest cardboard) and all stationery is printed on Envirocare (100% recycled paper, elemental chlorine free) using vegetable inks and has ISO14001 certification.
