speesees

speesees' mission is to be fun, fair and organic in the products they make, the way they conduct business.

speesees has two types of organic certification: Their yarn is Skal certified and the knitting, dyeing, stitching, and printing processes are Agreco certified. speesees is manufactured under Fair Trade Practices and Principles. The cotton is handpicked by farmers whose families live biodynamically and receive health care. Once spun, knit and dyed with low-impact dyes, speesees cotton garments are sewn and printed in a beautiful, sweatshop-free factory in Southern India.

An integral component of the production of speesees products is that the local community benefits from manufacturing. The local elementary school in the village where speesees is manufactured is called Zari Pada. To help meet their needs from water hand pumps to small shelves and racks for each classroom, speesees donate part of their profits. This helps to give the children various supplies to support a more conducive learning environment. 

Available in Sweden, Canada, the UK, Japan, New Zealand and even Latvia, speesees has now arrived in Australia.
